Alright, buckle up while I spill the deets on how I started a t shirt printing company! It all went down in early 2023 when I was brainstorming with my dad about money-making gigs. He owns a marketing agency and is a total pro at this entrepreneurship thing, having helped my older siblings kickstart their own ventures. While my brother’s off doing his thing now, my sister’s video conversion business is still killing it!
We tossed around a few ideas, but nothing really clicked until Dad mentioned designing and printing t-shirts. And let me tell you, it was like a light bulb went off in my head! I mean, I live for being creative, so diving into this world sounded like a dream come true. With Dad’s support, I snagged a heat press, and just like that, I was in business!
First order of business as a young entrepreneur? Creating a killer logo, of course! Dad lent a hand to digitize my design, and man, it turned out even better than I imagined. Now, onto sales! My younger brother’s basketball team was my first gig (shoutout to my little bro’s squad!). With Dad’s help, we whipped up designs that had them looking fly on the court.
And from there? Well, let’s just say it’s been one epic ride! Schools, companies, you name it—I’m printing for them all! Being a young entrepreneur and female boss? It’s seriously the coolest thing ever. I get to unleash my creativity and see people rocking the designs I poured my heart into.
